One Dalkeith woman got more than she bargained for when she got a new job – she also found her future husband and had a baby.

Linsey Steele (24), from Allan Terrace originally trained as a nurse, but decided that it was not the right career path for her.

She was unemployed for over a year before she turned to the recruitment team at public service provider A4e. After securing an interview at Dreghorn Barracks in Edinburgh, she was offered a job as a steward.

Linsey was inspired by her mother, who is a chef, to follow her into a career in the catering industry.
