National Mining Museum Scotland in Newtongrange is inviting members of the local community to drop in for coffee on the morning of Saturday June 15 – free of charge.
Visitors will be welcomed in the Old Power House with coffee and pastries – freshly baked by the museum’s new caterers “Saltire Hospitality”. Tours of the colliery will also be free between 10am and 1pm.
There will be opportunities to chat to the staff and find out what happens behind the scenes, see the details of the museum’s exciting development projects and hear about their programme of events for the year ahead.
The bouncy castle will be up for the little ones, so the whole family can get along.
