There’s a conventional way to do things, then there’s the Caroline Gilmour way, as she gets set to embark on a world tour of fans’ homes.
The Newtongrange singer-songwriter has already sold out her own headline shows, had big support slots with the likes of Horse and Charlotte Church, and played events such as Edinburgh’s Hogmanay and Celtic Connections.
Now though, Caroline is going her own way, setting up gigs in the most intimate of settings, inside fans’ houses and taking her music out of the venues and into the homes of the people who appreciate it the most, from Scotland to Australia, with more being added around the world all the time as fans catch on.
The tour ties in with her new record, the Electric Waterfalls EP.
Working with hitmakers Jud Mahoney (Michael Jackson, Usher) and John McLaughlin (Busted, Bay City Rollers), Caroline is about to enter a new chapter in her career and is ready to take the fruits of her labours around the world and into the homes of fans everywhere.
The EP is out on iTunes and other digital stores today (March 25). A limited edition seven-inch vinyl is available from all good record stores.
