Newtongrange Star have added a defender, a midfielder and a striker to their squad ahead of a return to the Super League.

Joining ‘Nitten’ are 23-year-old striker Sean Jamieson from East Fife, 29-year-old centre-half David Dunn from local rivals Bonnyrigg Rose, and former Hibs midfielder Jordan Cropley (24) arrives from Haddington Athletic.

Manager Alan Miller said he was happy with his signings: “I’m absolutely delighted.

“We have lost four players, so now these three will bring stability to the squad.

“I’m looking forward to seeing all three in action.

“I’m excited about the talent we have in the squad.

“We want to be competitive and we expect to be able to do that.”

Miller added that he hopes to add a goalkeeper to his squad, after back-up keeper Liam Amos left at the end of last season.
