No action on Dalkeith miners’ club

A MIDLOTHIAN club has pledged to continue working closely with police to address licensing issues.

Midlothian Licensing Board decided to take no action against Dalkeith Miners’ Welfare Society and Social Club after a two-hour review hearing on Monday.

Club officials had been requested to appear following a meeting in August when police tabled a list of 42 calls to the Woodburn Road premises over a year.
