A LEADING UFO investigator has called for an enquiry into the use of Gorebridge airspace.
Researcher Andrew Hennessey, whose family hail from Gorebridge, has been interested in UFO phenomenon since 1996.
A UFO hotspot, Gorebridge has been a focal point of reported phenomenon for a number of years. In February 2009, there were numerous reports of orange globes, flying in formation above rooftops at Barleyknowe Road.
As recently as Tuesday, July 12, pensioner Kenneth Murray (68), from Newtongrange (situated just two miles from Gorebridge), witnessed a large ring of fire in the sky as he sat drinking tea in his kitchen.
