Jamie and Jimmy’s Friday Night Feast (Friday, January 16, Channel 4, 8pm)

What’s It All About? Best pals Jamie Oliver and Jimmy Doherty present from their caff on Southend Pier.

Jamie has devised recipes with the “wow” factor to impress friends and family, while Jimmy’s role is more experimental, as he shows how to cook food you wouldn’t normally think to try at home with some DIY food builds. Oh, and they rope in some famous faces to lend a hand.

Tonight, Downton Abbey actor Hugh Bonneville relives his far-Eastern travels, and treats the café diners to an authentic pad thai.

Meanwhile, Jamie cooks the ultimate roast with his overnight shoulder of pork, while Jimmy builds a smoker to create a barbecue brisket.

Plus, the lads cook up a feast when they take on the sell-by label adherence that leads to thousands of tons of food being binned.

Look Out For: Just how passionate Jamie and Jimmy are about the food and produce they use in their cooking. Their love for their job comes across on screen, no matter what they happen to be filming.

But it helps that for this particular offering, the long-term friends can work together.
