A recent po-up cafe in Pathhead attracted a mountain of warm clothes for the 80,000 Syrian refugees in one camp in the mountains of Lebanon. A camper van and car full of clothes were sent via Mid Aid and Edinburgh Direct Aid, thanks to the generosity of the Pathhead people.
There was a great buzz in the cafe as people enjoyed coffee, home bakes, bacon rolls and Pathhead Youth Project snacks, and took time to look at the interesting stalls.
Children and adults also enjoyed messy crafts and a soul space. Many connections were made to bring the community together, so a big thank you to the people from Tyne Valley Parish Church and the Pathhead Community for making it a great success.
Pathhead Village Hall Funds benefited from the profits of the morning.
