Paws for Thought

This week’s featured cats are Mel and Kim.

These female cats are not coping well with life at Lothian Cat Rescue.

Mel (2), and Kim (6) are two tabby and white girls who arrived at the cat shelter when their former owner decided that they were no longer wanted. They get on fine with other cats but are very scared.

Wendy, who has been looking after them at the shelter, said: “They are very scared at the moment, and need an owner they can trust, perhaps with older children who will love them.

“They will need a patient and experienced owner willing to take the time to bring them round and trust people.

“They need some help because they are not coping well with being here.

“They tend to hide most of the time. If someone is willing to take on a challenge they will be rewarded with two lovely cats.

“The longer they are in here the worse they will get. They need to find a home as quickly as possible.”

If you have it in your heart to take these moggies home, why not visit the shelter and introduce yourself?Lothian Cat Rescue is a registered charity formed in 1978 to help cats and kittens that have been abandoned.
