Concerned Penicuik residents are urging Midlothian Council officials to re-think plans to develop social housing in the town.

The local authority has lodged proposals to create five houses and 12 flats at Craigiebield Crescent and two houses and 12 flats at Jackson Street, providing accommodation for up to 40 and 33 people respectively.
