Rock music lovers in Penicuik have rallied to support the family of a three-year-old boy who has a terminal form of cancer.

The charity concert, held in Shottstown Miners’ Club, saw performances by local bands Flat Oot and Three Wise Monkeys.

More than £720 was raised for young Dylan Duff and his family.

The concert was organised by Ben Jones, who lives in Cornbank.

Dylan’s dad Gavin is the sales divisional manager of Pirtek, which specialises in hydraulics hoses and pipe fittings. Ben owns the Edinburgh franchise of Pirtek.

Last year Dylan was diagnosed with Alveola Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of cancer.
