Around 40 community organisations and charities will have a chance to raise their profile at the annual Penicuik Street Fair on Saturday.
The event, which takes place the length of the John Street precinct, will be officially opened by the town’s Citizen of the Year Iain ‘Mose’ Hutchison at 10am.
Also in attendance will be Hunter and Lass Daren Cogdon and Sally Porteous.
It is hoped that for the following four hours there will be a good turn out from members of the public to help support the organisations, particularly as some try to raise important funds.
The annual event, which has been a regular on the town’s calendar for almost 30 years, is organised by Penicuik and District Community Council.
