Councillors have again granted planning permission for a new community hub in Gorebridge, more than three years after they originally approved the plans.

The Gorebridge Community Development Trust has been steering the project to build a community centre on Hunterfield Road.

Permission was granted in 2010 and work was due to begin in February this year.

But with work delayed, Midlothian Council’s planning committee had to grant planning permission on Monday (15th) for a further three years.
