Postal deliveries are being changed in a number of Midlothian communities in the coming weeks.
The Royal Mail has announced amendments to routes and the introduction of new delivery methods to EH18, EH29, EH20 and EH24. Letters will be sent to addresses in the postcode areas about the changes.
The areas affected – taking in Lasswade, Bonnyrigg, Loanhead and Rosewell – are all covered by the Bonnyrigg Delivery Office.
From Monday, the Royal Mail will continue to deliver in the morning and for a longer period during the day. Many customers will continue to receive their mail by lunchtime.
The time customers receive mail will depend where they live on the new delivery route. It may be earlier or later than current delivery times.
