A DISTRAUGHT Penicuik grandmother has spoken of the night a dog savaged her grandson.
Josephine Thomson is pleading for dog owners to keep their pets under control and calling for more stringent licensing.

She believes the 10-year-old is lucky to be alive after the mauling that lasted only seconds.
It took three adults to stop the Staffordshire crossbreed’s attack on the shocked and bloodied youngster.
