Mia Bald is over the moon with her new companion – an autism service dog called Luna – but the family still needs help raising the funds to pay for her.
The 20-week-old Golden Retriever pup has joined the Penicuik family to support four-year-old Mia and her mum Lynsey.
Lynsey (26), family and friends are two-thirds of the way towards raising the £6,000 to have Luna permanently in their lives.
Mia, a “clever and happy” child, was diagnosed with autism in June 2012.
