Rabbits theft heartbreak for Woodburn girl

AN eight-year-old Woodburn girl has been left “devastated” following the theft of her two pet rabbits.

Ginger and Snap were taken, along with their hutch, from outside the Stanton family’s home in Woodburn Avenue overnight on Monday, May 2.

Morgan (8), a pupil at St David’s Primary School, said: “I feel really upset. One is all ginger and one is ginger and white. They are quite playful.”

It is the second rabbit theft in Midlothian in recent weeks.

Last month the Advertiser told how six-year-old Makenzie Jackson from Gorebridge was appealing for the return of his pet rabbit, Nemo.
