Scholarship is a pet project

A MIDLOTHIAN veterinary school is to focus research on the care of rabbits and exotic pets.

The University of Edinburgh’s Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies at Easter Bush has announced a three-year scholarship for a residency in Rabbit and Exotic Animal Medicine and Surgery.

Based at the UK’s only veterinary school to have a dedicated Exotic Animal and Wildlife Service (EAWS), the post will be jointly funded by animal healthcare companies Dechra Veterinary Products and Companion Care (Services) Ltd.
