Pathhead’s very own ‘singing butcher’ has sold out his Edinburgh Jazz Festival show three weeks before he hits the stage.

Iain Hunter, who runs an award-winning butchers in Kinross, is the first act playing this year’s festival to sell out his show.

His wife Pamela spoke of the family’s reaction to the sold out show.

She said: “We are quite excited about it and people are still looking for tickets.

“Iain is such an unknown in the jazz world, but this just shows that people in Edinburgh and Midlothian have got behind him, it’s great.”
