Dalkeith pupils are in the final preparations for their end of term show.
Students at St David’s High School will be performing Seussical the Musical over two nights next week.
Based on the Dr Seuss books, the school presents a journey to Solla Sollew with JoJo, the Cat in the Hat and Horton, who protects the tiny world of the Whos.
This production will draw on the skills of the wider school community too, for musical accompaniment, costume, set design, and gadgets - as well as for innovative staging and lighting.
Not only will the pupils impress you in song and dance, but an intrepid troupe of teachers will take to the dance floor, to show off their moves.
Head teacher Wendy Sutherland said: “St David’s is proud to support so many of our talented young musicians and performers develop their confidence, commitment and ambition with our summer show.
“I’m looking forward to celebrating all of the hard work both students and staff have invested in the performances for our community to enjoy.”
Performances will take place on Wednesday, June 8 and Thursday, June 9 at St David’s High School at 7pm.
Tickets available from the school office. £6/4 (Family ticket, 2 Adults and 2 Concessions - £18).
