Teenager robbed at knifepoint in Dalkeith

Police in Midlothian are appealing for witnesses following a knifepoint robbery in Dalkeith.

The incident happened on Wednesday, May 2, between 5.30am and 6am, at Newbattle Road, close to Newbattle Abbey College.

The 16-year-old victim was walking alone when a man pulled up in a white Honda car, and threatened him at knifepoint. He demanded he hand over his personal belongings, which included an iPhone, cash and a gold ring, before getting back into his car with the items and driving off towards Newtongrange.

The suspect is described as white and in his early 20s with a stocky build and strawberry blond shaved hair.
