Deacon Alan Dickson of The Incorporation of Hammermen of Edinburgh (ICHE) awards a cheque to Cousland Smiddy Trust (CST).

Blacksmith Sean Cockburn took up the tenancy of the smiddy in July and the award was to assist in his start up.

Sean continues a long tradition of smiths working at Cousland which began around 1703, and where the Sked family worked for four generations from 1878 until 1986.
