Anger over rural Midlothian buses

RESIDENTS in some Midlothian villages have complained they will be cut off from next week following a bus company’s decision to withdraw one of its services.

However, one service has been given a partial six-month reprieve.

Elizabeth Bryce (62) from Newton Village has collected more than 500 signatures on a petition calling for the “vital link” to be maintained.
