Pathhead keeps up its reputation as one of the most musical villages in Scotland by offering three big events over the next couple of weeks.
Today (October 30) the Pathhead Music Collective welcomes back multi-award winning jazz vocalist Liane Carroll to Pathhead Village Hall. She will be joined by Pathhead’s own Sophie Bancroft and Tom Lyne as well as London-based singer songwriter Sara Colman. Doors open at 7.30pm with music from 8pm.
The jazz mood continues into Sunday afternoon (November 2) when Fionna Duncan and Brian Kellock will be appearing at the Stair Arms. The opportunity to enjoy Fionna Duncan’s vocals and Brian Kellock’s expert piano skills over some fine food adds up to a great way to spend your Sunday afternoon. Doors open and food is served from 12pm with music from 12.45pm until 3pm.
On Saturday, November 8 the Bevvy Sisters return to Pathhead Village Hall following a sold out performance last year. Mixing equal measures of sweetness and sass, grit and glamour, heartbreak and hilarity, a night with the Bevvy Sisters featuring the vocals of Pathhead’s own Gina Rae is definitely a treat. Doors open at 8pm with music from 8.30pm.
Tickets for all shows are available at Wahlberg’s Bakers, Main Street, Pathhead, or at the PMC website www.pathheadmusiccollective.org.uk
