TWO men have died in a fishing accident at a Midlothian reservoir.

The bodies of Andrew Conlon (56) and David Archibald (59), from Dalkeith, were recovered early on Monday morning from Gladhouse Reservoir, seven miles south-west of Gorebridge.

The pair had been on one of their regular fishing trips on Sunday, and the alarm was raised when the men did not return to their homes as usual as darkness fell.
