Police believe a fire which caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to a former betting shop in Dalkeith was started deliberately.
The fire took hold of the roof of the single story premises at 10 Woodburn Road at around 9.30pm on Saturday, March 24.
Firefighters from Dalkeith and Musselburgh used a hose reel jet and four sets of breathing apparatus as they fought to control the flames.
They then vented the derelict building before handing over to ScottishPower employees who isolated the gas supply.
