Woodburn shooting shocks community

A shooting in Woodburn has sent shockwaves through the community.

Locals this week spoke of their fears after police confirmed that a gun had been fired at a window in Whitehill Grove.

The occupant, named locally as Peter Moffat (21), was not home at the time of the incident, which took place in the early hours of last Wednesday.

When he returned the next day he was shocked to discover a hole had been blasted through his window.
