A top UK fashion brand is to launch a limited edition jumper designed by a Bonnyrigg woman.
For it’s ‘Wool School’ project, The Campaign for Wool partnered 12 up-and-coming design students with leading brands to launch a range of jumpers.
Claire Hunter, who recently graduated from Heriot-Watt University, was delighted when her winning marl stripe design was picked up by Lyle and Scott. The jumper is to be launched in stores nationwide on October 15.
Claire (22), of Sawmill Court, is hoping that her success will act as a springboard to a job in fashion design.
She told the Advertiser: “I loved art as a young girl and that enjoyment has become more refined as I have grown older. I enjoyed graphic design at university, and would like to find a permanent job as a fashion designer.”
