Dalkeith Thistle held their annual end of season dance in Dalkeith Miners’ Club recently.

The evening was sponsored by Michael Singh, the proprietor of the new Bombay Lounge restaurant.

Although Mr Singh was unable to attend, the player of the year awards were presented by his father Kuldip, who was accompanied by his son Steven and grandson Brandon.

The Players’ Player of the Year title went to Michael Linton and the Committee’s Player of the Year award was presented to Thomas Waters.

There was a special presentation made by John Burnett of Dalkeith Demolition, to kitman Jimmy Vaughan and his wife Mary, who ran the refreshment hut, to thank them for their years of service.

The committee and all involved with Dalkeith Thistle thanked Dalkeith Demolition, the club’s main sponsor, and all the other people and businesses, who have sponsored the club in the past season.
