An organisation which helped a Midlothian gymnastics team raise more than £400 towards coaching and equipment has launched a charity arm with a view to taking its fundraising “to a new level.”

Collected by members of Midlothian Gym Team – now known as Saltire Team Gymnastics – in June, bags of textiles were weighed and then recycled for cash by the not-for-profit organisation Bag4sport.

Now the charity arm of the organisation is calling for county residents to use their creative skills to come up with an eye catching T-shirt design that will be used in its marketing campaign.

Anyone aged 16 or under who belongs to a local sports club, school or other youth organisation can enter the competition and be in the running to win £500.
