Penicuik travelled to Blairfield Park to play Oakley United in their third league match of the new season and came away with all three points.
Penicuik started at a high tempo and in the opening minute a free kick to Penicuik was played to Killin in the box.
He flicked the ball over his marker to McCallum, who saw Burgess in goal pull off a great one-handed reflex save, tipping the ball over the bar.
Shortly afterwards a long kick out by Penicuik’s trialist keeper was headed on by McCallum to Ross who drove across the box, but his strike flew high over the bar.
Minutes later the same player sent in a dangerous cross that McDermott headed narrowly over the crossbar.
Penicuik took the lead in the 18th minute when McPartlin laid the ball off to McCallum who in turn crossed the ball to Killin to stroke home.
