An action-packed weekend of motorcycle racing at East Fortune Raceway saw a number of motorcycle racers enjoying several wins apiece, including Danderhall’s Scottish Superbike racer, Michael Robertson, who won four races and just missed out on his fifth win due to a clutch problem.
Riding his Kawasaki ZX10R, Robertson qualified on pole for the combined Scottish Superbike and Formula Melville races. In the first race on Saturday he quickly shot off into the distance with a tough battle taking place behind him for second position between Perth’s Torquil Paterson and Montrose hairdresser, Bruce Birnie. Fighting hard for fourth place were Tranent’s Bryan Campbell and Clackmannan racer, Andrew Tasker, with Tasker finishing just ahead of Campbell.
