Danny Turner beat Russell Young 8-5 in the final of the main event. Danny was consistent throughout the weekend and played some of his best pool in order to work his way through the tough opposition and take the title from last year’s winner Gary Gracey. Andrew Young beat Stevie Kerr 8-6 in the final of the plate event.
Organizers Gareth Lithgow and Tam Peters thanked both venues, Stuart Darling of the Fishers Tryst and Paul and Phil Marinello of the Crescent Sports Bar for their continued support, sponsorship and donations over the past four years. Also Dermot McGrory of Bryant & Cairns Windows & Conservatories for their sponsorship.
