Whitehill Welfare did not waste time in appointing David Bingham as the successor to Steven Hislop who resigned the manager’s post last week.

The former Inverness Caledonian Thistle, St Johnstone and Queen of the South player has also had managerial
experience with Tynecastle and Preston Athletic.

Bingham, joined Welfare in April as assistant to manager Steven Hislop.

Following Hislop’s departure to junior club Linlithgow Rose as assistant manager to Todd Lumsden earlier this week, the club moved swiftly to secure him as the new permanent manager and are said to be delighted when he accepted.

His first game in charge is against Civil Service Strollers on Saturday, November 19.
