Bonnyrigg Rose appointed a new manager last week after Davie McGlynn left for Linlithgow Rose after just 10 months in charge at New Dundas Park.

The club moved quickly to appoint former Berwick Rangers assistant manager Robbie Horn as his successor. The new Bonnyrigg manager said: “I am honoured to be given the chance to manage such a big club and can’t wait to get started.

“We have the nucleus of a good squad and with a few additions I genuinely feel we can challenge for trophies.”

Horn will be joined in the Bonnyrigg dugout by former Rose player David Burrell as his assistant.

Elsewhere, Newtongrange Star’s 28 goal striker Sean Jamieson has signed for Musselburgh Athletic.
