Martin Hathaway of Waverley Green Cleaning & Maintenance has bought Dalkeith Thistle brand new box-nets for the club, which form part of the work of new head groundsman Grant McDermid and his assistant Lewis McKinnon (pictured) have been doing on pitch maintenance.

Midlothian Council conducted an intensive maintenance programme during close-season which included verti-draining, a top dressing of sand, re-turfing, feed and fertilising ahead of his appointment. Grant works part time for Hearts’ groundstaff and responded to an appeal for help by the Dalkeith via Volunteer Midlothian which helps advertise new roles at the club.
