Dalkeith Thistle have decided to keep manager Wullie Pearson in charge until the end of the season, following speculation that he would leave last week.
Rumours had been circulating that the Jags manager was told by the club to resign or be sacked.
However, the club’s committee last week decided to keep Pearson.
Speaking to the Advertiser, Dalkeith Thistle president Tom Gilhooley said: “It has all been resolved. He will be the manager until the end of the season.
“It was agreed within the committee and we move on now.
“We are now hoping to get promotion to the Super League this season. Then one of the younger ones can take over.”
