Bonnyrigg Rose in recent action against Hill O' Beath

In a game of two halves it was Kelty who just shaded that first half with an early goal from former Bonnyrigg’s Paul Shields, who scored against his old club in the 12th minute.

He swept over a cross from the left wing only the 21st goal conceded by the Rose defence this season in 24 games played.

But in cold and windy conditions Bonnyrigg did not have their troubles to seek as stalwart Stuart Roseburgh was withdrawn from the line up after sustaining an injury in the warm up with Chris Gray going straight on from the kick off at left back.

Shields continued to impress with his clever touches as Bonnyrigg struggled in the conditions in the first half as new drains at the park had ensured the game was played, with other games elsewhere weather ko’d.
