Dalkeith Thistle struggled home by the narrowest of margins over impressive South League side Lochgelly Albert on Saturday.

The Jags won the 14 shot penalty shoot thanks to their hero keeper Kevin Kesson who made a hat-trick of penalty saves in the tie.

In a goalless first-half both sides had their moments but too often Thistle’s final pass went astray and the homesters needed two desperate goalline clearances in seven minutes by Taylor and Liddle four minutes later as the Fifers looked on form.
