Hibernian captain David Gray brought the William Hill Scottish Cup to schools in the Midlothian area last week.

The cup-winning captain visited his former school, Roslin Primary, along with Paralympic silver medallist and Hibernian supporter Scott Quin, who was recently crowned senior sports personality at the 2016 Midlothian Sports Awards.

The Persevere tour aims to get across the message to schoolchildren never to give up whatever, to never give up, to go the distance, to stop at nothing, to go the distance, and to stop at nothing.

The Scottish Cup tour visited Lasswade, Roslin, Loanhead, St Margaret’s, Bonnyrigg and Hawthornden
primaries.
