A RELAY team from Glencorse Barracks has got physical to help a military charity.

Four members of the Royal Army Physical Training Corps completed the recent Edinburgh Marathon in three hours and 31 minutes.

The Ironmen, a late entry in April, hope to raise between £400 and £500.

The money will help Poppyscotland provide year-round practical assistance to veterans and their families living in Scotland, making a real difference to their lives.

Team captain Rob Smith said: “The whole experience with Poppyscotland has been terrific and they have been excellent in their support to us.”
