Lasswade lose out to league leaders

Kirkcaldy 27, Lasswade 8

In the Hawthornden leg of this match, Kirkcaldy ended their hosts’ four year unbeaten league home record in a close fought encounter.

Since then they have lost just four matches.

Lasswade has fared far less well especially away from home and although they stayed in contention for most of this game, Kirkcaldy ran in their fourth and fifth tries in the last 15 minutes to ensure they retained their leadership of the division with a convincing scoreline.

On a day of squally weather, conditions managed to stay sunny but chilly during the game with a breeze along the pitch strong enough to be an advantage.
