Loanhead’s Sean has ‘top-end’ potential

MIDLOTHIAN paralympian Sean Fraser took a bow with Edinburgh’s finest athletes at the weekend.

The 22-year-old Loanhead swimmer was one of the local heroes on the homecoming parade through the capital on Sunday.

They were cheered by thousands of people who watched the open-topped bus travel from the City Chambers to the Assembly Rooms.

He was one of 10 athletes who accompanied Sir Chris Hoy to the ceremony where the track cycling star received the Freedom of the City of Edinburgh.

The bronze medal winner at the Beijing Paralympics didn’t manage to win a medal at his home event, but he contested four finals and was a member of two GB relay teams.
