Ellen’s jumping for joy

Last weekend was a special one for young athlete Ellen Kristoffersen, as she was selected to represent Scotland at senior level for the first time.
Fifteen-year-old Ellen, who is in fourth year at Dalkeith High School and is a member of Lasswade Athletics Club, has competed before for Scotland at age group level.
However, this was another step up for her as she travelled to Cardiff with the rest of the Scottish senior squad to take part in the Celtic Indoor Cup match.
The Scottish team came out on top overall to claim the Celtic Cup, with Ellen playing her part as she finished third in the high jump, with a clearance of 1.61m.
