The search is on to find the next batch of passionate young people to help influence and shape the future of sport in Scotland.
Midlothian residents are being urged to apply to become part of the Young People’s Sport Panel, a national platform which represents the voice of young people throughout the country.
Launched in 2013 by sportscotland, led in partnership with youth information charity Young Scot, this will be the second intake of sport panel members.
With 16 sport panel members already in place, they will help guide the new members throughout this unique period in Scottish sport, with the Glasgow Commonwealth Games and Ryder Cup at Gleneagles now on the horizon.
The Young People’s Sport Panel is open to people aged between 14 and 25. For more information and to download an application form, go to www.sportscotland.org.uk/ypspapply
