Two late goals from Kevin Haynes and David Morris gave Dalkeith Thistle a vital but deserved win over Bathgate Thistle.
The Jags had to reshuffle the pack for this game with Paterson, Hunter and Linton all missing from the starting line up from last week’s draw against Broughty. This meant a starting role for Murray and Waters dropping back to left back.
The Jags were looking to get off to a good start but it was the visitors who stole the lead on seven minutes when Easton pick up the ball 25 yards out, strode forward a few paces before sending a low drive past the outstretched fingertips of Combe in the Dalkeith goal.
The Jags fought back and both Liddle and Lally had decent heading opportunities, however, they were unable to trouble the Bathgate keeper.
