The final formula II National gradings have seen a few changes relating to Racewall drivers depending on their recent performances.
Apart from Craig Wallace (Tranent) the Lothian drivers did not have too good a season mainly due to work commitments.
Ronald Ferguson (Dunbar) bought the ex-Hay RCE chassis but due to lack of outings struggled to get the car sorted to his liking. Ferguson and Ally Noble (Newtongrange) were involved down at Skegness which saw both crash out heavily and Noble pick up a month suspension.
Ferguson was back out towards the end of the season and picked up a lower order place in the Grand National Championship. However, at the penultimate meeting of the year Ronald’s brother, Gordon appeared with the car but was soon on the sidelines. Gordon is building his own chassis, based around Ronald’s car and hopes to be a regular in 2014.
Gordon, like Ronald, is no stranger to racing having raced in the ministox and then had outings in stock rods and saloons before being on the sidelines for a few years.
