Midlothian junior football round-up

Arniston v Largs

Arniston v Largs

SUPER League East meets Super League West on Saturday, as Bonnyrigg Rose head to Saracen Park, home of Ashfield, in the fifth round of the Emirates Scottish Junior Cup.

A tough tie for the Rose again – and it may need a second attempt to see who goes through to the last eight.

The cup ties leave Arniston Rangers, Newtongrange Star and Penicuik Athletic all on Premier League business this Saturday, but with only the Star at home at New Victoria Park to face Broxburn Athletic.

Arniston – after two brave battles with Largs Thistle in the Scottish Cup – must pick themselves up away this weekend to Dundee Downfield. With 11 league games remaining, Arniston’s fight for Premier League survival is on.
