Newtongrange Star players, management and officials bid farewell to groundsman Kenny Adams before his final game, on March 22 against Lochee United.

Kenny (25) set off last week for a new life in Belgium working at Royal Antwerp Golf Club after previously combining his work at New Victoria Park with his greenkeeping duties at Kingsknowe Golf Club.

“I am really excited about my new job but I was very proud to work for the Star and will miss everyone at the club. It was a dream for me to be a part of things there and I was chuffed to get such a great send off on Saturday,” said Kenny.
