It may have been a bit chilly on Saturday night at Cowdenbeath Racewall, but there was certainly plenty of action to keep the fans happy.
The Grand National from last week saw Chris Burgoyne go through to win with Ally Noble (Newtongrange) in ninth place.
Locals taking part in the saloons included Chris Mack (Musselburgh) making his debut, along with Chris Carey (Loanhead), Gordon Alexander (Bonnyrigg), Mack and Stuart Drobinski (Tranent). In the prostox, locals were Kai McNulty (Gorebridge), Gary Thomson (Gorebridge), Dougie Kidd (Dalkeith) and Tam Ross (Danderhall). The junior banger races were dominated by Aiden Moffat (Dalkeith), who went on to win all three races.
This Saturday, the formula IIs are back, with the hot rods having another World Championship qualifying round. Action starts at 6pm.
